ABL Apprenticeships Centre’s relationship with Government

ABL Apprenticeships Centre operates under a contract funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

DEEWR backs the Australian Apprenticeships scheme by making funds available for employers and apprentices/trainees. ABL Apprenticeships Centre administers these funds on their behalf.

We lodge the Training Contracts with the State Training Authority (STA) for approval [in NSW this is the New South Wales Department of Education and Training (DET)].

The STAs make decisions about cancellations and suspensions and mediate where necessary. ABL Apprenticeships Centre and other Apprenticeship Centres have no jurisdiction over dispute resolution.

Contact us to find out all you need to successfully establish and manage apprenticeships or traineeships in your organisation, or to find out what apprentice or trainee opportunities are available.
