How old do I have to be?

Anyone over the age of 15 can become an apprentice or trainee. This includes:

Australian citizens
New Zealand citizens once you’ve been in Australia for 6 months
Visa holders may be able to become an apprentice or trainee but some restrictions apply. You need to check first, contact ABL Apprenticeships Centre on 1300 652 236.
