What can I expect from my employer?

As an apprentice or trainee, you are a valuable asset to your employer. You can expect:

support and supervision for your day-to-day training to give you every opportunity to complete your apprenticeship or traineeship
where off-the-job training is needed, your employer will need to give you the time off work to complete this*
a safe working environment.
