What qualifications can I do

No matter what your interests or career goals, there’s probably a qualification available to suit you. Apprenticeships and traineeships are offered in more than 80% of occupations, ranging from traditional trades, engineering, manufacturing through to media, electronics, tourism, telecommunications, retail and financial services.

Apprenticeships and traineeships offer the following qualification levels:

  • Certificate II
  • Certificate III
  • Certificate IV
  • Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma

At each level of qualification from Certificate II to Certificate IV you will need to show that you have gained specific skills and knowledge across:

  • Literacy and numeracy
  • Communication skills
  • Working in teams
  • Workplace technology
  • Industry specific competencies

The complexity of the skills required increases at each level of qualification.
